My Top Five Favourite Love Songs

I thought today I would share with you five of my all time favourite love songs.

My Top Five Favourite Love Songs

1. Nothing Compares to You by Sinead O'Connor
To me, this is the ultimate love song, even if it is technically a break up song!

2. Always by Bon Jovi
This song really says it all!

3. Lighthouse by Lucy Spraggan
I love how the person she loves keeps her grounded and she always returns!

4. Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift
This is probably not a love song, but I like the message!

5. A Million Lights by Cheryl
I love the emotion in this one!

Bonus song:
Everything I Do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams
A list of six just doesn't make sense but I couldn't leave this one out!

I hope you liked the songs! Which songs are your top five? Let me know in the comments :)

  8. Great post idea. I'm not much of a love song person so mine tend to be a little unusual, or dark. & often punk!
Another Girl, Another Planet - Only Ones
I'll Stand By You - The Pretenders
    Wild World - Cat Stevens
Ever Fallen in Love With Someone You Shouldn't Have Fallen in Love With? - Buzzcocks

  9. Now I want to download Sinead's song because listening to it brought back so many great high school memories! Bon Jovi: I love Anything from that man! Bryan Adam's song was actually my wedding song! I still love it though because it is attached to one of my favorite movies, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Awesome post! Thanks for sharing. 10. You lost me with a few of these, lol. Can't think of any of the top of my head. Think I'm too cynical for the mush.

  11. I thought I commented on this yesterday, but since I can't see my comment I'm back for more. Plus I wanted to add that I've had that Bryan Adams song stuck in my head and since it's been awhile since I watched that version of Robin Hood I think the blame squarely rests with you. Can't work out if it's a good or a bad thing. It's a thing undecided.

  19. Always was in the charts when my eldest son was born. Although its not what the songs about, the words to the chorus perfectly described how i felt every time i looked at him (and still do even tho he is an annoying 20yr old now) #AnythingGoes

    1. Its amazing how a song can bring back such strong memories and I think the chorus is perfect for the love between a mother and her child :)
