Guest Post: Two Truths And A Lie By Emily Claxton

Today's post is a guest post from Emily over at Directed In The Right Direction. A bit different to my usual posts, but I think it'll be a fun little game. The post, for me, has a nostalgic feel to it because we used to play this game at school when I was a child.
If you haven't visited Emily's blog yet, here's a little more about her:

Emily is a new blogger with a love for writing. She is 17 and currently at college.

Onto Emily's post - I hope you all join in, it's just a bit of fun :)

Two Truths and a Lie by Emily Claxton
Two Truths And A Lie - Guest Post by Emily Claxton

Remember that silly ‘start of year let’s socialise’ game your teachers would make you play at the beginning of the year? You know the one where you’d have to think of three facts, two would be true to you and the third false? Well, if you still don’t know what I’m on about then you’ve successfully dodged the awkwardness, congratulations.
Anyway, now from an older perspective, I find myself frequently trying to think of slightly unusual facts about myself, things that would maybe catch a stranger out. So, you know, I thought I’d try it out. I’m going to give you three facts about myself, two will be completely 100% true, and one? Not so much. Well, here we go…

1.       I have only ever drank water

Since being little I have never in my life drank anything but water. I legitimately can just not stand the taste of anything else. Pull orange juice out and you will have to be prepared to see me squirm, just the thought of it makes me cringe a little.

2.       My Guinea Pig exploded

Now, I don’t know whether this was my fault or just a general thing that guinea pigs tend to do sometimes? I mean I was only a child, so I might be over-exaggerating, but as I recall I fed it way too much and then the next morning there was no more guinea pig.

3.       My little sister’s middle name is Sparkle

So a 4 year old me thought it’d be just grand to call my sister Sparkle, my mum however didn’t think it’d be such a grand idea, we finally settled on the idea that we’d have a Abigail Sparkle (why she let this happen I’ll never understand).

So…they’re my 3 facts, the question is, where’s the lie?

It's a tricky one isn't it? None of them sound true. I'm going to go with number 3. Let us know in the comments which one you think is the lie :)
