My June Reading list
1. The Boy In The Attic by David Malone.
This one is a true crime book. Whilst not technically fiction, I love true crime books, and it is a book, so it is to be included.
2. The Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver
I've got a massive thing for YA, and was looking for some new YA books to read. I asked for a recommendation, and I got this one from the brilliant Amy from the Apparently Awkward blog, which you can check out here: http://apparentlyawkward.blogspot.co.uk/. I've yet to try any Lauren Oliver books, and I'm looking forward to them a lot!
3. The Ritual by Adam Nevill
This one isn't in the picture as I got it after the picture was taken. Sounds quite spooky and I love a spooky book!
Granted, it's not a very long list, but bearing in mind the Delirium trilogy is 3 books (duh, obviously!) I think it's a reasonable target for a month! Keep checking in for my reviews of the books.
Which books are on your June reading list?

I am SO behind on my reading list and cannot wait to attack my pile. Hopefully I will have some time on vacation at the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do Doreen! Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteThat's an impressive list. I'm working my way through the works of Michael Chrichton. Think I've read 5 in the last 3 months. It's slow going when I read approx. two pages before nodding off and dropping the Kindle on my face.
ReplyDeleteOuch that sounds like quite a wake up call lol!
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI have a reading list about three miles long and have finally began to tackle it. I have started out with reading three books a month. This month I'm almost finished with The Warrior Elite by Dick Couch and How Fiction Works by James Wood, and will move on to Blackhawk Down by Mark Bowden. If I finish these three before the month is over, I will read The Italian Thing by Patricia Salamone.
Take care.
Shalom,
Patricia at Everything Must Change
I usually get through about 3 books a month as well, but I thought I would use the blog posts as an excuse to fit an extra couple of books in this month - nothing like making something harder for myself :)
DeleteYou have way more books on your June list than I could get through in one month, as I'd be lucky to crack open one and finish it between now and next weekend. I doubt that's going to happen though, between the research and writing I have to do for several articles. Ha! The Boy in the Attic and The Ritual sound like they're interesting reads. As for me, I'm still working on my TBR from April which is a total of 4 books including The Power of No by James Altucher, Dreaming Me by Jan Willis and Spike Lee's Gotta Have It by Spike Lee. The wrote about the latter in my Letter X post for the #atozchallenge but have yet to read it in its entirety.

p.s.
thanks for doing the a-z road trip :)
I normally only get through about 3 a month but I figure in for a penny in for a pound lol I'm about half way through The Boy In The Attic it's really good so far :)
DeleteThat's a good idea having a reading list. I mainly use my Kindle now so every now and then I'll pop onto the shop and see what's a decent price.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all these.
You get some brilliant deals on the Kindle, I just can't get away with it though. Old school lol :)
