The problem is, I never use them up. I don't actually use them as candles, as in light them, I just like the way they look and smell. Usually with scented candles, they have lost all their scent after about two weeks and are ready to be changed, but Yankee Candles last ages. Some of these I have had for going on six months now and I can still smell them when I walk into a room! For that reason, I will hold out a little longer. It seems silly buying more and throwing the old ones away when the old ones are still smelling so good. And I think anymore, and I might start to be known as the crazy candle lady!
The tea lights, I bought with the excuse that they were to accessorise in photos - I think I've done this all of once! But they are pretty cute so it's all good!
Do you love Yankee Candles? How many is too many? Let me know what you think in the comments :)
Yes, I love Yankee Candles! I love the ones in the big glass jar the best :) My favourite was vanilla but they either don't make it anymore or no shop near me stocks it - which is shocking because that's a pretty standard candle scent! :) x
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked they removed vanilla, I would have thought it would be one of the most popular! x
DeleteNope! No such thing as too many...that's myth-talk:) My personal favourite has to be Black Coconut - super yummy!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good enough reason to buy more! Oh I haven't seen that one, another good reason to buy more lol :)
DeleteTo be honest with you I have no idea what Yankee Candles are but they sound awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey smell amazing, try them if you get a chance :)
DeleteNever too many. I adore them. Their Freshly Cut Flowers one was my birthing candle. Like heck we used it as a birthing candle ... who actually remembers to do this?! But for months after I would light it and wallow in the scent with happy memories.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I love that you remembered your birthing candle, a smell is such a good way to bring memories back :)
DeleteThey smell lush don't they? We don't have many as hubby is a tight arse but when we do we make them last ages :-) Thanks so much for sharing with #bestandworst and see you again xx

ReplyDeleteThey really do. You can make them last ages though without the smell fading. Don't tell hubby that though, you'll never get any more lol! Thanks for hosting :) x
