My Yankee Candle Obsession

My Yankee Candle ObsessionI think it's fair to say I have a bit of an obsession with Yankee Candles. I was in town a couple of days ago and I found myself, as usual, wanting to buy more. I was good though and resisted the urge! I think I'm already at the point of having too many (is too many even a thing?).
The problem is, I never use them up. I don't actually use them as candles, as in light them, I just like the way they look and smell. Usually with scented candles, they have lost all their scent after about two weeks and are ready to be changed, but Yankee Candles last ages. Some of these I have had for going on six months now and I can still smell them when I walk into a room! For that reason, I will hold out a little longer. It seems silly buying more and throwing the old ones away when the old ones are still smelling so good. And I think anymore, and I might start to be known as the crazy candle lady!
The tea lights, I bought with the excuse that they were to accessorise in photos - I think I've done this all of once! But they are pretty cute so it's all good!

  1. Yes, I love Yankee Candles! I love the ones in the big glass jar the best :) My favourite was vanilla but they either don't make it anymore or no shop near me stocks it - which is shocking because that's a pretty standard candle scent! :) x

    1. I'm shocked they removed vanilla, I would have thought it would be one of the most popular! x

  4. Never too many. I adore them. Their Freshly Cut Flowers one was my birthing candle. Like heck we used it as a birthing candle ... who actually remembers to do this?! But for months after I would light it and wallow in the scent with happy memories.

    1. They really do. You can make them last ages though without the smell fading. Don't tell hubby that though, you'll never get any more lol! Thanks for hosting :) x
